WHO WE ARE

Hall of Fame The Washington State American Legion Baseball Hall of Fame was started by the Washington State American Legion Baseball Commission. The Commission is made up of members of the American Legion Department of Washington who volunteer their time to develop and manage summer American Legion Baseball programs statewide. The programs are divided into 3 different divisions and they are: the A program (ages 14 to 15), the AA program (ages 16 to 17) and the AAA program (ages 18 to 19).

Since 1928 thousands from players, coaches and managers have moved up to the college or pro ranks of baseball. The Baseball Commission wants to reach out to the Baseball Communities, American Legion Posts and Sports writers to help us identify those individuals that have made a difference in the lives of our youth. The program is operated under the Americanism Division of the National Office of the American Legion which includes programs like; Boys State, Scouting, Junior Shooting Sports, Constitutional Speech and Baseball. All of the programs are designed to teach the youth and adults who participate, the value of becoming good citizens and to conduct themselves to the standards set by the American Legion.
